Salman Khan's close friend Kumod Raney passed away, and the entire Khan family is currently in grief. For those who don't know, she abruptly died in Mumbai on June 9, 2026. It's important to note that Kumod Raney's cause of death is yet unknown. The Tiger 3 actor was seen arriving at the funeral with security guards and close friends in the widely shared videos.

Salman Khan broke down in tears at his close friend's funeral. Salma, Sohail Khan, Nirvaan Khan, Arhaan Khan, and Arpita Khan Sharma accompanied the superstar. Their presence was a reflection of the long-standing friendship, love, and respect for Kumod Raney and her family.

Who Was Kumod Raney?

Kumod Raney was a well-known entrepreneur who founded Reign Beauty Bar in Dubai, according to Pinkvilla. She had received multiple honours for her work in the wellness and beauty sector.

She had a strong and long-lasting bond with the Khan family in addition to her career achievements. Kumod Raney, a lifelong family friend, had a relationship with the family that lasted for many years and was based on respect, love, and steadfast support.

Sohali Khan Mourns Kumud Raney's Death

Sohail Khan lamented the passing of longtime family friend Kumod Raney in a heartfelt social media post. He expressed his condolences to Kumod Raney's family and considered the loss created by her passing in his statement.

Sohail Khan wrote, "My heart goes out to Jaggi & Kabir as Kumud was their lifeline. Times like these make you feel that life’s unfair and you begin to question the almighty. I pray that she’s happy wherever she is. We will miss her forever."

Kumod Raney passed just a few weeks after the Khan family bid adieu to another close friend, Sushil Kumar, who passed away at the age of 42.
