When Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli's Wedding Was Gatecrashed By A 'Maharaja' In BMW

Anushka Sharma and cricket player Virat Kohli astonished everyone by getting married in an intimate ceremony in 2017. Few people from the movie or cricket industries attended the power couple's wedding in Tuscany, Italy. However, it has come to knowledge that an unwanted guest entered this celebrity wedding in Italy.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's wedding was kept a secret from everyone. Yaseen Khan, the founder of YK Security, recently disclosed in an interview with Hindi Rush that someone arrived in a BMW and gate-crashed their wedding while masquerading as a Maharaja.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's wedding security handler disclosed that he was present at the event. However, they failed to verify his identity because he was dressed as a king and had arrived in a Safari with two bouncers.

Yaseen Khan, the founder of YK Security said, "A gatecrasher, dressed exactly like a maharaja, arrived in a BMW, accompanied by two bouncers in a Safari. I wasn’t present at the gate. I was at the main floor where the wedding was taking place. My team was there. We know the gatecrashers by face. My supervisor had a doubt so he flagged it to the event management team."

When Yaseen later questioned him who he was, he replied that he had been sent to the wedding since his nephew was unable to attend. Yaseen then inquired about the person's invitation to the wedding from Virat's team, but they denied it. "When I got my eyes on him, he would stay only in the corner. His security guards would click his picture with a celebrity, after which he’d retreat into the corner. If you’re a guest, you’d mingle with others at the wedding."

The gate-crasher was invited to the Delhi reception but not the main event, according to Virat Kohli manager. He then told the gatecrasher that only those who had been invited could attend the wedding and that the person had not been invited. He then acted rudely and departed the area.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, in 2021 after their 2017 wedding. Their son Akaay joined them in 2024, completing their family. The couple moved from India to the UK in order to live a more tranquil life away from the spotlight and incessant headlines.
