After years of distance and public tension, Krushna Abhishek has finally reunited with his mami and Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, bringing an emotional close to their decade-long feud. The heartwarming moment took place on the sets of Laughter Chef Season 3, where smiles, laughter and warm hugs signalled a new beginning. The reunion has once again highlighted the long-standing differences between Krushna and Govinda’s families.

The much-awaited reunion took place on the sets of Laughter Chefs, where Sunita met Krushna and his wife, Kashmera Shah. Videos from the set quickly went viral, showing the trio sharing warm hugs and cheerful moments.
During the interaction, Sunita added a humorous touch, saying, "14 saal ke baad aaj vanvaas khatam hua hai. Kis kis ki jalegi bhagwan he jane." Her comment left everyone on set laughing and lightened the emotional atmosphere.

Govinda and Krushna Were Earlier Reunited
Although there were occasional moments when Krushna and Govinda were seen together, he was not seen with Mami and Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja. Govinda even cleared in 2024, only that they reconciled. The recent meeting on the show marked a clear turning point. While Govinda was not present, the reunion with Sunita signals that ties are improving. It also hints at a possible full family patch-up in the near future.
What Caused the Rift Between Krushna Abhishek And Govinda?

The conflict reportedly started in 2016 when a joke on The Kapil Sharma Show upset Govinda and Sunita. What began as a minor issue soon turned into a bigger disagreement. Over time, tensions grew between Sunita and Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, who even called her a cruel mother-in-law, making the situation more public and prolonging the distance between both families.

In 2024, Kapil Sharma's show, Govinda, opened up about the real reason behind the rift, revealing that it stemmed from certain dialogues written for Krushna Abhishek in his performances, which he initially did not appreciate. He said, “One day, I was very angry with him. I asked, ‘What are these dialogues they make him write?’ My wife, Sunita, said, ‘The whole film industry does this. Don’t say anything to Krushna. He is making money, and let him do his work. Kisi ke liye aap stoppage nahi kijiye, kisi se wrong mat kijiye.’ So, I would like to say about her, ‘You say sorry to her, she loves you.”
Responding to this, Krushna acknowledged the situation and expressed his feelings, saying, “Yes, yes, I love her too. If there’s any such (sour) feeling, then I am sorry, I love you very, very much.”
When Sunita Ahuja Opens Up About Ending the Feud
In a conversation with Pinkvilla in November 2025, Sunita confirmed that she has moved on from the past. She said, "How long can I be angry with my kids? Why hold grudges when everyone is happy in their own space? I only want to give blessings to all the kids; they are like my own." She also shared a personal memory, recalling her close bond with Krushna’s late mother, Padma Sharma, who supported her relationship with Govinda in the early days.
