Katy Perry has refuted Australian actor Ruby Rose's sexual assault allegations at a nightclub in Australia over 20 years ago. Katy Perry's representative described the accusations as damaging and false in a statement to Rolling Stone. Rose has a history of making grave public accusations on social media, which the people listed have refuted. Allegations Against Katy Perry

On Sunday night, the 40-year-old made the accusations in reaction to a post about Katy Perry making fun of Justin Bieber's Coachella performance. "Katy Perry sexual[ly] assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s*** what she thinks (sic)."

Sharing more details, she said Katy Perry did not kiss her but instead "bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting v***** on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her (sic)".

Ruby Rose claimed that other people saw the incident and that she had pictures to back up her allegations.

Why Rube Rose Stayed Silent?

She said that she reported something to the police on Sunday, but she did not specify if it had to do with the alleged assault or something else that had been brought up online. "I told the story in public, but I changed it to a 'funny little drunk story' because I didn't know how else to handle it," she explained.

The 41-year-old actor revealed that she kept the situation hidden since Perry later assisted her in obtaining a US visa.

Ruby Rose shared, "It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly. Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me."
