Known for taking on controversies head-on and speaking her mind without hesitation, Kangana Ranaut has long cultivated an image of fearlessness. But the actor-turned-politician recently offered a rare glimpse into her vulnerable side. She admitted that stepping into public service has brought its own set of challenges and moments of self-doubt.
Kangana Ranaut was asked if there was anything that still scared her despite her reputation for courage and conviction. Speaking with India Today, the actress openly acknowledged that self-doubt is a problem she still faces.
Kangana Ranaut said, "Anything can scare you. It’s not some larger-than-life fear. But the small things like, 'Will I be good enough?' Especially in my new job as a politician, what is the right way for me to be? Am I too much of an actress? Am I dressing up too much? Is it okay if I wear sleeveless? Am I being judged? Or am I being good enough? Or is it the right way to be? Or am I still too much of a heroine?"
The BJP MP revealed that she frequently questions whether she is upholding the standards required of a public figure and presenting herself professionally. She admitted that, despite her impressive public persona, she still struggles with self-reflection as she juggles her roles as a politician and a performer.
