Alpha Teaser Out: The first official teaser for Alpha, which featured Bobby Deol and Alia Bhatt, was released on Wednesday after a long wait. It is a part of the YRF espionage universe and is directed by Shiv Rawail. Beyond the fast-paced visuals and thrilling scenes, everyone's attention was surprisingly drawn to the credits. But why?

Alpha credits showed Uday Chopra's name associated with the story, leaving social media users hooked immediately. Many users joked about Uday Chopra reprising his role as Inspector Ali from the Dhoom series in Alpha.

A user wrote, "Talent flows in the genes, is it a behind the scenes comeback for Uday." Another user said, "He wrote Pyaar Impossible last time." A third user joked, "Leave aside Alia.. Leave aside Deol…Leave aside Spy Universe…Leave aside missing Sharvari… The movie should be celebrated for bringing back Lord Uday Chopra as a writer."

Several users mocked the ideation for Alpha, saying, "Now #Alpha story is written by Uday Chopra, looks like it will be final knell in coffin." A user quipped,"#Alpha story has been written by Uday Chopra. Can imagine how big of a disaster this film will be."

About Alpha 

The Alpha teaser showed Bobby's character training Alia's character, his daughter, to be a spy. He gives her the chance to kill for the first time on her eighteenth birthday. Anil Kapoor and Sharvari are also featured in the movie, but neither of them appears in the teaser. It opened to positive and mixed reviews from the netizens.

Shah Rukh Khan has reacted to the Alpha's official promo on X (previously Twitter), stating that Alia has moved from shattering hearts to shattering bones. "Well done Alia, in years from breaking hearts and now to breaking bones your skill set keeps expanding. May Alpha win hearts and still leave some villains standing for the sequel. Go get them Sigma girl!"

Heaping praises on Bobby Deol, he said, "Lord Bobby….you are so good when you are bad!!! Big hug. And all the best to Shiv and his team. @aliaa08 @thedeol @yrf @shivrawail."

Alpha is the next movie in the YRF spy universe following After Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023), Tiger 3 (2023), and War 2 (2025). The movie's release date was moved up from its previously stated July 10, 2026, in order to take advantage of an available window at the box office.
