Stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss 19 runner-up Pranit More has recently landed in controversy after a clip involving a Rs 370 biryani conversation went viral on social media. The video sparked widespread criticism for its remarks related to consent and women's dignity, with many users calling the content insensitive. As the debate gained momentum online, several celebrities including Urfi Javed, Elvish Yadav, Kusha Kapila and other influencers came forward to condemn the clip and question the responsibility of content creators when handling such sensitive subjects.

What Is Pranit More's Ra 370 Biryani Clip Controversy?

The controversy began after a crowd-work clip featuring Pranit More and audience member Himanshu Jangra surfaced online. In the viral video, a remark suggested that spending Rs 370 on biryani created an expectation of physical intimacy from a girl who came on a date with him, a statement that many viewers felt trivialized the idea of consent. The clip quickly triggered backlash, with critics arguing that it promoted a harmful mindset and reduced a serious issue to a joke.

Elvish Yadav Calls Out Viral Ra 370 Biryani Clip And Pranit More

Popular YouTuber and influencer Elvish Yadav strongly criticized both the statement and the reaction to it. Sharing his thoughts on X, he wrote:

"Rs 370 ki biryani ne do cheezein expose kar di: Ek aadmi ko laga consent ka MRP hota hai. Aur ek comedian ko laga har uncomfortable silence ko laughter track se bachaya ja sakta hai. Biryani toh dum pe bani thi, controversy ego pe."

His post quickly gained attention and became one of the most discussed reactions to the controversy.

Kusha Kapila Urges Women To Speak Up

Content creator Kusha Kapila urged women to openly call out offensive content. She stated that uploading such material is a conscious choice and cannot be defended as comedy.

Kusha wrote, "Urge women to call out disgusting comedy plenty. Please darna mat (Don't feel scared). Bakwaas kiya hai toh drag karo badiya se (If they have spoken nonsense, then feel free to drag it too). Uploading a clip like that is a choice. Choosing to crack certain jokes and hosting that on your channel is a choice. This, btw, is not comedy. This is content designed to get a reaction.”

Kusha also called out Pranit More without taking his name and says “if you are editing these kinds of videos and uploading them on your social media it means you are agreeing with that. So, you can't say that it does not reflect your views.”
