Imtiaz Ali's Main Vaapas Aaunga is all set to hit the theatres. The movie stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari, among others. It tells a cross-generational love story spanning 78 years, moving between past and present as an elderly man recounts a partition-era romance. Ahead of its release, the film's first review is out and here is what the industry people have to say:
Celebs are all heart for Main Vaapas Aaunga
Kabir Khan reviewed Main Vaapas Aaunga, saying, "It is a very moving film. Even though it talks about the partnership that happpened about seven decades ago, it still feels relevant in the world we are living in. Filmmaker has his heart in the right place as he is able to bring these subjects to life. I am still processing and it is an extremely movinf film, such a multi-layered film. I will sleep over it and will speak to Imtiaz about it."
Sunidhi Chauhan noted, "Whenever you are coming to watch an Imtiaz Ali film, there are expectations and you know that you are going to experience something new. I am really happy that I came to watch the film."
Aliyah Kashyap hailed Main Vaapas Aaunga as 'important' and 'relevant'. She wrote on her IG story, "A beautiful and hard hitting story with powerful performances and amazing music. A story very important and relevant today. This was my second watch and I loved it even more this time."
