On the day of Budh Pradosh Vrat, one should rise early in the morning and after having a bath, dress in clean attire and take a vow to perform fasting. Chanting "Om Namah Shivaya" is considered lucky throughout the day. During the Pradosh Kaal Muhurat, take a bath again and worship the Shivlingam. Offer Gangajal, Panchamrit and Belpatra to Lord Shiva. The devotees can additionally offer dhatura, fruits, and flowers to Shiv ji. Make sure to also recite the aarti and Shiv Chalisa to appease Bholenath.
