Virat Kohli has once again become a centre of attention after he liked an Instagram post. The cricketer liked a picture of German vlogger Liz Laz, which instantly went viral on social media. This came months after Kohli was trolled for liking Avneet Kaur's Instagram post, however, later he cited it as a technical glitch. Now, actress Ameesha Patel has came out in support of Virat Kohli, asking if it is a 'sin' to like someone's post.
While interacting with the paparazzi in Mumbai, Ameesha Patel said, "Like karna kuch paap hai kya? Unki life, unka Instagram, unki marzi. Logon ko bas troll karna hi aata hai. Aur koi kaam dhanda hi nahi hai. Acchi baat hai kisi ke acche kaam ko like karna. Troll karna paap hai, kisi ko like karna nahi (Is liking something a sin? It’s his life, his Instagram, his choice. People only know how to troll; they have nothing better to do. It’s a good thing to appreciate someone’s good work by liking it. Trolling is the real wrongdoing, not liking someone)."

Last year, Virat Kohli’s 'like' on Avneet Kaur’s picture went viral, sparking widespread speculation given his high-profile image. Addressing the buzz, Kohli later clarified on Instagram that it was a technical glitch caused by the algorithm, stating there was no intent behind the interaction and urging people not to draw unnecessary conclusions.
In the statement, Virat wrote, "He wrote: "I'd like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made."

For Avneet, however, the moment turned into a major boost. She reportedly gained over a million followers and secured multiple brand deals, significantly increasing her market value.
