Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana are gearing up for their new movie Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. The movie also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles. On Saturday, makers unveiled a fresh poster of Ayushmann Khurrana as Prajapati Pandey in the upcoming movie. Sharing the announcement, makers wrote, "Shikari khud hogaya shikaar! Ab jaal mein phas gaye humare PRAJAPATI PANDEY. Ho jao #PatiPatniAurWohDo ke liye taiyaar (sic)."
The first look of the film offers a playful yet intriguing glimpse into its tone, with Ayushmann Khurrana caught in a rather unusual situation—literally trapped inside a net, while three women stand above him holding it. The visual cleverly hints at a tangled web of relationships, suggesting a chaotic and possibly humorous love triangle (or more) at the heart of the story.
Adding to the film’s quirky appeal, Ayushmann is also seen seated calmly beside a cheetah in another frame, an unexpected element that further amplifies the film’s eccentricity and promises a blend of absurdity with comedic tension.

Titled Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, the film serves as a sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. While the project had initially been scheduled for release on March 4, 2026, the makers have now postponed its theatrical debut to May 15, 2026.

The sequel is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who returns to helm the franchise, bringing his signature storytelling style back to the screen. The original film featured a popular ensemble cast including Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday, and was well-received for its modern take on relationships infused with humor. This new installment is backed by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series, in collaboration with B R Studios. The film also has Juno Chopra on board as the creative producer.
