The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is now official in India, quietly expanding Vivo’s T-series lineup. This is the second phone in the series, and it is set to go on sale from April 21 at 12 noon via Flipkart and Vivo’s own online store.
The phone comes in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue, with three configurations depending on how much RAM and storage you want.

Price and Sale Offers
The starting price sits at ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. If you want more storage, the 8GB plus 256GB model is priced at ₹33,999, while the top-end 12GB plus 256GB version goes up to ₹39,999.
Vivo is also pushing bank offers with up to a ₹3,000 instant discount on HDFC, SBI, and Axis Bank cards. There is also a no-cost EMI option for up to six months and an exchange bonus of up to ₹3,000.
Display and Build
On the front, you get a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Vivo is claiming up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, which sounds aggressive on paper. There is also HDR10+ support and a Sleep Comfort mode for easier viewing at night.
Interestingly, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, which is still not something you see often in this category.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB storage. There is also a vapor chamber cooling system to keep thermals in check when things get heavy.
On paper, this setup should comfortably handle gaming, multitasking, and daily usage without much trouble.
Cameras
The camera setup is fairly straightforward. You get a 50-megapixel primary sensor based on the Sony IMX882 with optical image stabilization. Vivo is also talking about up to 10x lossless zoom.
There is a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor alongside it. On the front, the phone has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The Big Battery Play
This is where things get interesting. The Vivo T5 Pro 5G packs a 9,020mAh battery, which is unusually large for a phone in this segment. It also supports 90W fast charging, so it is not just about endurance but also about getting back up quickly.

What You Should Take Away
The Vivo T5 Pro 5G definitely plays to its strengths in terms of battery, screen quality, and sturdiness. On paper, everything looks good, but as usual, the truth can only be told by how the camera, performance, and optimization pan out in real-life situations.
