Oppo has introduced a new smartphone in China, the Oppo A6s Pro, expanding its A6 series lineup with a device that leans heavily on performance and battery life. The phone is currently up for pre-order through the company’s official website and is set to go on sale starting April 17.

The A6s Pro comes in three colour options with names translated from Chinese, including a white, blue, and silver finish. It is also available in multiple storage configurations, giving users some flexibility depending on their needs.

One of the key highlights here is the 7,000mAh battery, which continues the trend of high-capacity batteries in newer smartphones. Oppo has paired this with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which should help offset the long charging times typically associated with larger batteries.

On the front, the phone features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports 10-bit colour and can reach up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness. Oppo claims the device carries an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, which is quite rare in this segment.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The chipset is said to deliver clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz. To manage heat, the phone includes a vapour chamber cooling system with a large heat dissipation area.

In terms of cameras, the setup is straightforward. The rear houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Video recording is supported at up to 1080p at 60fps.

The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. It supports dual SIM connectivity and includes a wide range of sensors, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options cover 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple global navigation systems.

Pricing starts at CNY 2,199 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and goes up to CNY 2,999 for the top-end 12GB + 512GB model.
