Tamil Nadu Assembly Election: With just a few days remaining in the Tamil Nadu Assembly election, all the political parties have intensified their campaigns. A viral moment was witnessed during actor-tuned politician Vijay's rally in Kanyakumari when he was riding a bicycle during the campaign. The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder was seen rushing back to the security personnel's after a supporter hurled a 'ball' of flowers at him. The officials stated that the TVK founder was escorted back to his vehicle following the incident.
The incident occurred while Vijay was riding bicycle during his campaign as his supporters cheered and ran alongside him. However, a supporter suddenly threw a ball of flowers at the TVK founder, leading to panic and rush. Vijay immediately got off the bicycle and the security officers came running towards him and escorted him to the campaign vehicle.

The officials, while providing details, stated that the object was found to be a ball that burst and released flowers on impact. They further clarified that neither Vijay, nor any of his supporter was harmed during the campaign, adding that the situation was brought under control immediately.

The video received mixed reaction from the social media users. While some of the netizens criticise him for allegedly putting people's life at risk, others praised him for staying among the public. "This guy loves to create stampede using cheap tactics for Votes," one of the social media users stated.
"Now I understand why Nepal is trying to stop this VIP culture for politicians," another user pointed out. "Expected the rally. Expected the crowd. Did not expect him to stay on the cycle that long with that many people pushing in from every side. Fair reaction honestly," the third user asserted. Known for his popular films, Vijay is making his political debut in the upcoming assembly polls.
