Jagran Correspondent, Jaipur | The bitter rivalry between two Rajasthan Congress stalwarts, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot once again revived with the former chief minister targeting his ex-deputy over the infamous 2020 Manesar revolt.
Gehlot Reignites Dispute With Pilot
Four days ago, Gehlot took a rebellious stance while speaking to the media personnel in Jaipur about Pilot, refusing to accept him as the state Congress president. He described the rebellion by the Pilot camp during his tenure as chief minister as a conspiracy with the BJP. Gehlot accused Pilot of colluding with the BJP in 2020. In 2020, Pilot had taken around 18 Congress MLAs to Manesar, revolting against his own government. The BJP had given these MLAs ten crore rupees each, Gehlot claimed.

Pilot Hits Back At Gehlot
On Wednesday, Pilot, while addressing a farmers' conference in Sagarta, Karauli district, hit back at Gehlot, saying he should speak to him by looking into his eyes, then the truth would come out. "If you (Gehlot) look eye to eye, you will know who is telling the truth and who is lying," he said.
Pilot said, "I have respected all the leaders. There may be differences, but there has never been any animosity."
Rahul Gandhi Should Keep Gehlot Under Control: Ramesh Meena
Meanwhile, Pilot supporter and former minister Ramesh Meena, addressing the gathering, said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should keep Gehlot under control; otherwise, he would destroy the party. Gehlot was made Chief Minister three times by the Congress, but he led the party to defeat all three times, he added.
Gehlot Should Be Subjected To A Narco Test: Meena
Gehlot should be subjected to a narco test to determine how much truth and how much lies he speaks, Meena said on Gehlot's claim that during the Congress government, MLAs who went to Manesar had taken ten crore rupees each from the BJP.
