Punjab BJP New Team Announced As Party Gears Up For Assembly Elections: Check List

State Bureau, Chandigarh: The Punjab unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its new state executive committee on Sunday. Following the approval of National President Nitin Naveen, State President Kewal Singh Dhillon formed the new team that represents all three regions: Majha, Malwa, and Doaba, although the Malwa region has the largest participation.

Surjit Kumar Jyani, Rakesh Rathore, Subhash Sharma, Manjit Singh Rai, Ashwani Sekhri, Sushil Rinku, Geja Ram Valmiki, Tejinder Singh Bittu, Jasmine Sandhawalia, Jatinder Mittal, Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon and Ranjit Singh Gill have been given the responsibility as state vice presidents.

• Punjab State Gen Secretary: Anil Sareen, Rajesh Bagha, Parminder Singh Brar, Rajneesh Dhiman, and Jeevan Garg.
• Punjab State Secretary: Manjit Singh Manna, Mangat Rai Bansal, Rakesh Sharma, Suraj Bhardwaj, Vandana Sangwal, Meenu Sethi, Ranjan Kamra, Charanjit Singh Brar, Kamalpreet Kaur Chaudhary, Meena Taranaich, Amarjit Singh Ameri, and Ekta Nagpal.

• Co-Treasurer: Sukhwinder Singh Goldy
• State Protocol Secretaries: Khushwant Rai Giga and Sanjeev Khanna

Malwa region has the highest representation in the new team

The Malwa region appears to have the highest representation in the new team. A significant number of leaders from Fazilka, Ludhiana, Mohali, Ferozepur, Mansa, Sangrur, Patiala, Bathinda, and Fatehgarh Sahib have been given responsibilities.

Meanwhile, leaders from Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Batala in Majha and Jalandhar, Kapurthala, and Hoshiarpur in Doaba have also been given prominent positions. Political analysts view this as a strategy to strengthen the organisation in all three regions before the assembly elections.

State President Kewal Singh Dhillon said that the new team will play an important role in strengthening the organization at the booth level and taking the party's policies to every section of the state.
