Manoj Kumar Sharma, Jewar: As Noida International Airport in Jewar prepares to begin commercial flight operations on June 15, several states have prepared route maps for their bus services. Additionally, ride-hailing aggregators, including Uber, Ola, and Rapido, will operate at the airport to provide premium travel to passengers.
Furthermore, the Noida International Airport has partnered with Mahindra Logistics to deploy a dedicated fleet of electric taxis, offering travellers a reliable and eco-friendly transit option.
DTC, Uttarakhand And Haryana Roadways To Launch Direct Bus Connectivity
To provide direct connectivity to Noida International Airport, public transport corporations from Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Haryana have finalised bus routes.
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will operate services from major hubs, including Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar, and New Delhi Railway Station, covering the majority of the national capital.
Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation will operate roadways buses from Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Haldwani. Additionally, Haryana Roadways is preparing to provide direct connectivity from Chandigarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Palwal.
UP To Launch State-Wide, Local E-Bus Services
According to a report by Jagran.com, a plan is being finalised with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to operate buses from major cities across the state to Noida International Airport. To strengthen public transport, e-bus services will be launched connecting Noida and Greater Noida directly to the airport.
Initially, these bus services will operate daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. The frequency and operational hours will be increased in the future based on passenger volume and demand.
Yamuna Expressway - The Only Direct Connectivity
The Yamuna Expressway currently serves as the primary direct connection for commuters travelling to and from Noida International Airport, whether from Delhi-NCR, Agra, or Mathura.
- Passengers travelling from Delhi can access the airport via the Link Interchange after a 32-kilometre drive from Zero Point.
- Travellers coming from Mathura and Agra can reach the airport by passing the Jewar toll plaza and using the same link interchange.
- No toll fees will be charged on the Yamuna Expressway for vehicles travelling from Zero Point to the airport.
