Delhi Schools Bomb Threat: Multiple schools across Delhi receive bomb threats on Monday morning.

All safety protocols are being followed and a thorough check of the premises is being conducted, news agency ANI quoted Delhi Police as saying. So far, nothing suspicious has been found.

Last month, bomb threats sent via email triggered panic in Gurugram. The incident happened just before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Punjab, Chandigarh, and Haryana on July 17 to launch and inaugurate various development projects.

The email threatened to bomb not only Gurugram schools and the mini secretariat, but also Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the emails originated from an IP address linked to Bangladesh. Following the alert, police, bomb disposal squads, and dog squad teams were immediately deployed to all the affected locations.

The email claimed that the schools would be targeted at 1:11 pm on July 17, while the Mohali Mayor's Office would be attacked at 3:11 pm the same day. The timing coincides with Prime Minister Modi's scheduled visit to Chandigarh, Punjab, and Haryana.
