A 17-year-old boy allegedly rammed a car into seven vehicles in succession in Hyderabad's Borabanda area on Sunday before crashing into a motorcycle, leaving two riders seriously injured.

The incident was captured on CCTV footage, which shows the minor driving the car into a row of vehicles parked along the roadside before colliding with an oncoming motorcycle. The impact threw both riders off the bike.

One of the victims narrowly escaped being crushed after managing to move out of the car's path but sustained serious injuries. The other rider was critically injured after the minor allegedly drove the car over him, leaving him trapped beneath the vehicle.

Minor Attempts to Flee, Locals Catch and Assault Him

The CCTV footage also shows bystanders rushing to the scene and lifting the car to rescue the trapped victim. The injured were identified as Rajkumar (60) and Prabhakar (55), who were on their way to church. Both sustained severe injuries and were admitted to separate private hospitals for treatment.

Following the crash, the minor allegedly attempted to flee the scene. However, local residents chased him down, caught him, and reportedly assaulted him before handing him over to the police.

According to police, the minor found the car keys inside the vehicle after it had been cleaned, took the car without authorisation, and drove off. Madhuranagar Police have registered a case and launched a further investigation.
