Assi OTT Release: Courtroom drama Assi, starring Taapsee Pannu, is finally making its way to digital screens. The project marks the third time Taapsee Pannu has teamed up with director Anubhav Sinha. The creative duo have previously collaborated on the hit films Thappad and Mulk.

Following its theatrical release on February 20, where it earned a respectable response at the box office, the film is now scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform Zee5 on April 17, 2026. She expressed her fear that such films are on the verge of extinction.Taapsee explained that the industry is increasingly leaning towards fixed commercial patterns, making it harder for films like Assi to secure a place in the market.
