Asha Bhosle Last Rites: The Indian film and music fraternity gathered at the Mumbai residence of the legendary singer Asha Bhosle on Monday, April 13, 2026, to pay their final respects. While the event saw almost all the celebrities, the absence of superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan has sparked a heated debate online.
Of the three major Khans of Bollywood, only Aamir Khan was present at the last rites. Reports in Deccan Chronicle suggest that both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were in Mumbai at the time but chose to stay away due to 'security reasons.' Reports state that the presence of such high-profile stars could have led to uncontrollable crowds, creating significant management challenges for the local police.
