Popular YouTuber and former Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant Armaan Malik has landed in hot water after making highly controversial comments about his first wife, Payal Malik. In a recent video blog (vlog) shared on his channel, Armaan criticized Payal's choice of morning clothing, comparing her unfavourably to his second wife, Kritika Malik. The comments have sparked widespread outrage across social media platforms, with netizens calling out his mindset as disrespectful and patriarchal.

Internet Slams Armaan Malik for Disrespectful Remark About Wife Payal's Morning Outfits

The controversy began when Armaan openly expressed his disappointment that Payal chose to wear a casual T-shirt and half-pants in the morning instead of a new nightdress he had bought for her. When Payal explained that she prioritised dressing comfortably so she could easily take care of their baby, Armaan dismissed her reasoning with a harsh warning about marital relationships.

Defending his stance in the video, Armaan said: “Main roz nahi le aaunga. Pehenke dikha toh mujhe… keh lo ki bhai hamara pati pyaar nahi karta hum toh aise hi hain. Lower t-shirt mein ghumoge pati kaha pyaar karega. 2 mahine mein divorce de dega tumhe. Apne aap ko jitna grooming rakh sakte ho rakho na bhai."

"Then women complain that our husbands do not love us... If you roam around in lower t-shirts how will they love you? In 2 months they will divorce you. Keep yourselves groomed as much as you can."  Armaan Malik in his viral vlog.

A large section of social media users immediately slammed the content creator for his insensitive remarks. Many viewers pointed out the hypocrisy of his statement, noting that Armaan himself was wearing a casual T-shirt while demanding his wife stay perfectly groomed.

Who Is Armaan Malik?

Armaan Malik, whose real name is Sandeep, originally hails from Hisar, Haryana. He worked at a private bank before relocating to Delhi to pursue a full-time career as a digital content creator. He gained massive nationwide recognition after entering the Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 reality show alongside both of his wives, Payal and Kritika. Since then, the trio has consistently remained a topic of intense public discussion due to their unconventional polygamous lifestyle and frequent family vlogs.
