Main Vaapas Aaunga First Review: The first review of Imtiaz Ali's upcoming romantic movie Main Vaapas Aaunga is already out, and it comes from none other than television and film producer Ektaa Kapoor. The movie, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Raina, is still a few days away from opening in theatres. On Sunday, she heaped praises on the storyline and lauded the performances of the cast.

Main Vaapas Aaunga is a love story set against the backdrop of the Partition, according to Ekta Kapoor, who stated it stayed with her long after it ended, in a social media post on X (previously Twitter). She also commended Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, Sharvari, and Diljit Dosanjh.

Main Vaapas Aaunga First Review

Ekta Kapoor claimed that it took her an entire day to decide what to write to avoid writing 'a single word wrong'. She wrote on X, "A film that the world is going to witness in June, I got to experience in May. And let me tell you, even a month before its release, all I want to say is: you have no idea what’s coming next (sic)."

Main Vaapas Aaunga is an emotive, timeless, and profoundly moving film that illustrates how various generations may think, live, and love in different ways, but ultimately comes down to falling in love, as described by Ektaa Kapoor.

Imtiaz Ali is in 'top form', according to Ektaa Kapoor, who also referred to the music of composer AR Rahman as 'pure magic'. Diljit Dosanjh plays a young man who is confused about how to express himself, what to commit to, and how to handle his relationships. She commended the Punjabi actor-singer's 'restrained performance' and claimed he uses his eyes to portray emotion.

Vedang Raina will win hearts as a 'sardarji' according to the producer, who described him as the movie's 'surprise package' and an 'outstanding breakout performance'. She also complimented Sharvari's on-screen persona, saying that her eyes gracefully and honestly convey every emotion. Naseeruddin Shah is merely an icon, and his talent cannot be adequately described, as per Ektaa Kapoor.
