Gullak Season 5 X Review: The Mishra family has returned to our screens. Gullak Season 5 premiered on the streaming platform Sony LIV on June 5, 2026. The new episodes take viewers back into the familiar and comforting world of Mishra Nivas. Fans can expect plenty of family arguments, everyday middle-class struggles, and warm, emotional moments.
Early reviews show that the latest season keeps the signature humour and relatability that made the show famous. However, many viewers are finding it difficult to adjust to a major change in the main cast. Actor Anant V. Joshi has stepped into the role of the eldest son, Annu Mishra. He replaces Vaibhav Raj Gupta, who played the popular character across the previous four seasons.

Anant Joshi tries very hard but Vaibhav Raj Gupta as Annu bhaiya and his story telling is pure nostalgia. #Gullak #Annubhaiya
