IB MTS Result 2026 Out: The Intelligence Bureau has officially announced the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) results 2026. Candidates can access their results online on the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) official portal. The result is available in PDF format, containing names and roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates. IB MTS Tier 1 exam 2026, which was held on January 27, 2026, aims to fill a total of 362 vacancies across various positions.

IB MTS Result 2026: Steps To Download

Here’s how you download the result PDF from the official portal.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs at mha.gov.in.

Step 2: Under the result section, click on the “IB MTS Result 2026” link.

Step 3: Click on the PDF link to download the result.

Step 4: Search for your roll number.

IB MTS Result 2026: Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will advance to the Tier 2 exam. The date, time, venue, and other relevant instructions will be communicated via SMS in due course. The selection process includes three stages, namely, 

  • Tier 1: Written examination

  • Tier 2: Examination

  • Interview: Final stage of selection

The final merit list will be prepared based on the final answer key. The final answer key was adjusted after reviewing objections submitted by candidates.

The final selected candidates will have to complete their document verification process. They must carry the following documents to complete their verification process. 

  • Date of birth proof

  • Educational certificates

  • Domicile certificate

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Disability certificate (if applicable)

  • Other relevant documents

Failure to present these documents may result in disqualification from the recruitment process.
