CBSE 10th Second Board Exam 2026 LOC Submission Schedule: CBSE First Chance Class 10th Result 2026 has been declared today, on April 15, at 4 PM. After announcing the results, the Central Board of Secondary Education has issued detailed instructions to principals and heads of affiliated schools regarding the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class 10 Second Board Examination 2026.

The board has asked schools to carefully submit student details and examination fees within the given schedule. Students who want to improve their performance or appear again in selected subjects can register through their respective schools.

 

LOC Submission and Fee Schedule:

Process Dates
Examination Fee Payment – Phase 1 April 16, 2026 (Noon) – April 20, 2026
LOC Submission + Fee Payment – Phase 2    April 16 – April 20, 2026
LOC Submission with Late Fee – Phase 3 April 21 – April 22, 2026

The board has clarified that no correction or change will be allowed after the LOC submission window closes. Schools must ensure accurate student data while submitting the forms.

Important Instructions for Schools and Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued the following important instructions regarding the second board examination:

-Students whose names were not submitted earlier can now submit their names and pay the examination fee to appear in the second exam.

-Students already registered in the first phase can complete their examination fee payment during the schedule.

-Students who no longer wish to appear in the second examination can withdraw their names through their schools.

-Students can change their Mathematics option from Standard to Basic or Basic to Standard for the second exam.

-Students who passed the main exam can improve their scores in any three subjects from Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and Languages.

-Students placed in the ER category are not eligible to appear in the second examination.

-Students in the Compartment category can appear in the second exam for the same subject or for improvement as per CBSE rules.

-The second examination will be conducted on the same syllabus as the main examination 2026, and the results of the main exam will remain final if a candidate does not appear.

The board also stated that facilities for CWSN students will continue as per existing CBSE provisions, but no new registrations under this category will be allowed. Schools have been advised to strictly follow the official guidelines and submit the LOC within the given timeline.
