SRH vs RR, IPL 2026: SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacers Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain on Friday had a dream start to their IPL careers with both pacers delivering career-best performances against an in-form Rajasthan Royals. The duo clinched four wickets each, paving the way for SRH's convincing 57-run victory at the Rajeev Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad.

With this win, Hyderabad climbed to fourth place in the IPL 2026 points table, while RR remained at the top despite suffering their first defeat of the season.

While both SRH pacers grabbed headlines, it was Praful Hinge who stole the show with a sensational first over, scalping three crucial wickets of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius. This was the first time in IPL 2026 when teen sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dismissed for a golden duck.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the 15-year-old sensation who had been taking apart some of the best bowlers in IPL 2026, endured a rare failure as he departed for a golden duck against SRH. Facing his very first delivery, Vaibhav mistimed a pull shot, with the ball lobbing off the top edge and landing safely into the hands of wicketkeeper Salil Arora.

As the ball went up in the air, Kavya Maran, seated in the VIP stands, rose to her feet, and the moment Salil Arora completed the catch, she burst into celebration, jumping with joy as SRH claimed a massive early breakthrough.

Vaibhav's early dismissal had a ripple effect on Rajasthan Royals, who never quite recovered from the blow. Eventually, SRH sealed a dominant 57-run win, bringing an end to RR's four-match winning streak.

Following the victory, Kavya Maran was seen receiving a blue rose from a fan, which she accepted with a smile. The heartwarming moment has also been making the rounds on social media.

SRH's Praful Hinge also became the only bowler in IPL's history to take three wickets in the opening over. With Rajasthan chasing 217 for victory, the 24-year-old Hinge was handed the new ball and made an immediate impact, dismissing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi before removing Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius in the same over.

Hinge struck again in his second over to send back Royals captain Riyan Parag, finishing with figures of 4-34. Hinge, playing only his second senior T20 match, was well supported by fellow debutant Sakib Hussain, who returned 4-24.
