RCB vs LSG IPL 2026: Rishabh Pant had survived a nervy moment during their IPL 2026 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Wednesday, as he had left the field after being hit on his elbow. Pant was the new batter for LSG and was seen struggling during Josh Hazlewood's over.

He faced three consecutive dot balls, struggling to connect with them due to their speed and bounce. The pressure had only increased, and things got worse for him.

On the first ball of the fifth over, Pant mistimed a shot. On the next ball, he tried to smash again but missed.

During a crucial juncture, a short ball had hit Pant painfully on his left elbow. In the replay, the impact was clearly visible, and he was seen reeling in unbearable pain.

After this incident, the physio rushed to assist Pant.

He did try to continue, but was having a hard time. Hazlewood too walked towards him and was seen patting him on the back after Pant walked back to the pavilion.

Pant was almost moved to tears when he was going back, and that showed the amount of pain that he was suffering from.

Pant's exit forced Nicholas Pooran to bat next, replacing the LSG skipper. This affected LSG's lineup, as Aiden Markram had already fallen cheaply.

This was a difficult period for the Pant-led side, as his injury became the major focus of the first innings.
