India spinner Manav Suthar has signed a short-term deal with Warwickshire for the next two rounds of the County Championship. Suthar, who made his international debut in the one-off Test against Afghanistan, picked up seven wickets as the Shubman Gill-led side registered a dominating innings and 300-run win.
Suthar is set to be available for Warwickshire's fixtures against Yorkshire from Friday, 12 June to Monday, 15 June and for Somerset in the next week.

"We're delighted to welcome Manav to the Bears, at a really exciting time for the team. We've played some good red-ball cricket already this season, and Manav will bring a new aspect to our bowling attack," Warwickshire's Performance Director James Thomas said.
"It shows how highly he's rated in India after his selection to their Test team last week, so it's going to be great to have him around the group."
Suthar joins the county side after a rapid rise in the past few years. Before featuring in Indian colours, he had picked up 129 wickets in 29 first-class matches. Warwickshire said Suthar would add a new dimension to their bowling attack as they continue their push for the County Championship title.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Warwickshire for the next two County Championship games. The team have started the season very well, so I’m hoping that I can play a part in helping them in their push for the title” said Suthar.
