Shares of Motisons Jewellers Ltd traded in positive territory during the intraday trade on Wednesday, after the Jaipur based small cap jem and jewellery sector company said that it has launched Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), with the floor price set at Rs 11.58 per share. Amid the announcement, the jewellery stock opened in green at Rs 12.25 as compared to the last day's closing of Rs 12.03 on NSE. It advanced the momentum further to hit an intraday high at Rs 12.79, up 5 per cent from the last closing.
At the time of writing, the stock was trading at Rs 12.28, up 2.08 per cent. The 52-week high and low values of the stock stood at Rs 422.65 and Rs 26, respectively.
QIP Floor Price
According to an exchange filing, the company decided the floor price at Rs 11.58 per equity share for QIP, and the face value of shares is Rs Re 1 each. The floor price was approved by its board and subsequently by shareholder postal ballot. The company stated that it cannot offer institutional bidders a discount of more than 5% on the calculated floor price. According to the company, the trading window for transactions in the company's securities will close 48 hours after the issue price is finalised for all 'Specified Persons' with effect from June 9, 2026.

Previously, the company's QIP committee had approved the launch of the issue on June 9, 2026, allowing institutional investors to participate in the fundraising exercise.
Stock Market Today
The Indian stock market remained volatile on Wednesday as investors remained cautious amid the heightening geopolitical situation due to renewed tension between the US and Iran. The 30-share BSE index--Sensex--closed the session on a flat note at 73,983.18, up 0.087 per cent or 64.42 points. Earlier, in the morning, the 30-share index was trading sharply higher, touching an intraday high at 74,613.01, up over 690 points from last day's closing of 73,918.76.
Meanwhile, Nifty50 closed on 23,214.95, up 0.12 per cent or 27.15 points.
