Skoda Cars Price Hike: Skoda Auto India has announced a price hike across its entire portfolio in the Indian market, effective October 1, 2026. The brand currently offers 4 cars in the Indian market: the Skoda Kushaq, Skoda Slavia, Skoda Kushaq, and the Skoda Kodiaq. The exact amount of the price hike will vary depending on the model and variant, and the highest amount of the hike is expected to be Rs 20,000.
Skoda Price Hike: Reason
The Indian automotive industry has been going through a challenging time due to ongoing geopolitical crisis that has resulted in inflated global shipping costs and choked critical industry supplies. Several automotive manufacturers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, and Mahindra, have also increased the prices of their cars following rising inflation and operational costs. Skoda Auto India has also cited rising input and operational costs for their recent price hike.

Skoda To Launch Slavia Facelift Soon
The Skoda Slavia has remained a popular nameplate for the brand in the country, and its facelift model was recently unveiled. The brand has recently shared that the production of the Skoda Slavia facelift has begun at its manufacturing plant based in Pune, Maharashtra. The Slavia facelift brings along new features such as ventilated front seats, massaging rear seats, a 360-degree camera, and a new 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
