Bajaj Adventure Motorcycle:  Bajaj seems to be planning to enter the growing adventure motorcycle segment in the country. While a prototype of the upcoming Bajaj ADV was spied for the first time recently, another test mule was spied on the Indian roads. Notably, the brand had made an announcement that it will be launching a new ADV motorcycle in the country in the 125cc and 250cc segments. Let’s take a look at what can be expected from the upcoming Bajaj ADV motorcycle.

Bajaj Adventure Motorcycle: Design & Hardware

As mentioned earlier, the Bajaj ADV was spied testing for the first time recently. From the sides, a longer beak, long-travel suspension, upright ergonomics, and a one-piece seat can be seen in the spy shots. The overall proportions of the motorcycle suggest that the brand is planning to launch an adventure-tourer motorcycle. The test mule was also carrying a top box at the rear, which confirms that the motorcycle will also support touring. Moreover, the tank appears slim near the knees of the rider, which suggests that the bike might potentially support saddling for riders. The suspension duty on the motorcycle is expected to be handled by twin telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear.

Bajaj Adventure Motorcycle: Expected Powertrain

The biggest highlight of the test mule of the Bajaj ADV motorcycle is its engine and chassis package. The engine casing appears to have a connection with KTM’s current 250cc engine, instead of Bajaj’s existing mill that powers the Dominar 250 and the Pulsar N250. This suggests that the brand might use the KTM-derived single-cylinder liquid-cooled 249cc engine.
