2026 Audi Q7 Unveiled:  The 2026 Audi Q7 luxury SUV has recently been unveiled globally. Notably, the brand has launched a model upgrade for the SUV after an 11-year cycle. The new-generation model comes equipped with several changes in terms of design, features, and powertrain. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and engine specs of the newly launched 2026 Audi Q7.

2026 Audi Q7: Design

The brand’s next-generation Q7 model features a more muscular and upright design language, which is similar to the recently launched Audi Q3. As anticipated, the next-gen Audi Q7 features a split-type LED headlight setup with an LED DRL that has a pixel lighting element. The main headlamp units are vertically arranged, and they are placed inside gloss black housings. The front fascia also features the brand’s signature large grille and honeycomb-patterned and vertical air intake, positioned lower on the front bumper. The air intake is surrounded by a satin silver trim. On the sides, the new-generation Audi Q7 features traditional pull-type door handles, an S-badge, slim roof rails, body-coloured cladding, and an ORVM with a camera. At the rear, it features an illuminated brand logo, slim light bar, a subtle roof spoiler, chrome exhaust surrounds, gloss black bash plate, rear wiper and defogger, along with a split taillight setup.

2026 Audi Q7: Features

As anticipated, the next-gen Audi Q7 features several changes in terms of its interior. To begin with, it features a triple-screen setup and a four-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard features several wooden and leather trims, and the new-gen Q7 also features a wooden centre console, which is similar to the Q9. Moreover, the Audi Q7 next-generation also comes equipped with dual wireless charging pads, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, ventilated seats with a massage function, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, and ADAS.

2026 Audi Q7: Engine

The new-generation Audi Q7 will be offered with options of diesel and petrol twin-turbo V6 engines, along with an option of a V8 engine with the SQ7. As anticipated, the Audi Q7 is based on Volkswagen’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) engine. The 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 429hp and 599 hp, whereas the 3-litre mild hybrid diesel TDI can churn out up to 299 hp and 630 Nm of torque. It is worth noting that the brand will offer the diesel engine in select markets. With the option of a petrol mill, the 2026 Q7 can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Moreover, the V6 TDI engine is paired with a hybrid engine, and it can run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), which means that the new-gen Q7 will emit up to 95 per cent less CO2 emissions than a regular diesel engine. The Q7 also comes equipped with a quattro All-wheel drive configuration.
